Our take

Who it suits

Book it for the choice of room types and the short walk to Pier Park. The age rule on Expedia is the same as at Osprey: every guest 25 or older, children with their parents excepted. There's no elevator, and only some rooms have a balcony or a Gulf view.

  • Walking to Pier Park from the sand
  • A family that needs a suite for up to 8
  • Kids: a splash pad and a playground
  • A ground-floor room by the pool

Skip if

  • Someone in your group is 18 to 24; Expedia requires every adult to be 25+
