Cheap hotels in Panama City Beach

On a January weeknight, 7 of our 19 hotels cost under $100 with taxes, and 1 of them is on the sand. In July the cheapest room was $157 on a Wednesday and $226 on a Saturday. We priced every hotel on Expedia for the same three nights, taxes and fees included.

Pick the date first

Across the 9 hotels with a price on all three of our sample nights, the median was $123 on Wednesday, January 13, $426 on Wednesday, July 14 and $498 on Saturday, July 17, 2027, about four times the January price.

Our list only has hotels rated 8.5 or higher on Expedia from at least 20 reviews, so cheap places with weaker ratings are missing. These 7 cost under $100 in January. The other 12 are in the full price list and in our beachfront hotels and where to stay guides. Lowest prices in that list: on January 13, Casa Loma Inn ($69), Tru By Hilton ($76), Candlewood Suites Panama City Beach Pier by IHG ($79); on July 14, Candlewood Suites Panama City Beach Pier by IHG ($157); on July 17, Garner Hotel Panama City Beach Northeast by IHG ($226).

Each price is Expedia's total for two adults in one room, taxes and fees included, as shown on November 2, 2026 without signing in, sorted from low to high. We took the lowest price shown, whatever the room type or cancellation terms. On January 13 we loaded the list up to about $280 a night, so pricier hotels are missing for that date. For July, "No price shown" means Expedia showed no price for our one-night search; we didn't check why. Parking, pet fees and deposits can come on top. Whether a hotel's resort fee is already in Expedia's total shows in Expedia's price breakdown; check it before you book. Area and beach location come from our own hotel research.
